The K-DT1 is a cutting-edge portable moving target simulator engineered for precise testing and calibration of K-band Radar transceivers. Designed to be a fully standalone, simple battery-powered Doppler target simulator, the K-DT1 eliminates the need for external equipment, allowing for immediate, on-site testing right out of the box. It is the ideal tool for professionals working with 24 GHz radar sensors used in speed displays, automatic door openers, sophisticated safety systems, and a multitude of other radar-based Doppler applications.
The simulator’s core functionality lies in its ability to generate high-fidelity, low-distortion, and directional Doppler signals ranging from 44Hz to 13.4kHz. This signal range corresponds to an impressive speed simulation from 1 km/h up to 300 km/h, giving users the power to thoroughly test their sensors across a vast operational envelope. The K-DT1 is exceptionally user-friendly, allowing you to recall one of three integrated presets that have been stored using the included powerful PC software, DT1-Remote.
The DT1-Remote software provides comprehensive control, enabling you to adjust the amplitude, direction, and duration of the simulated target signal to replicate complex real-world scenarios accurately. Since the K-DT1 is battery operated and comes in a small soft case, you can truly take it everywhere. Its robust, standalone nature ensures reliable performance, making it an essential asset for engineering, calibration, and quality assurance in the field of 24 GHz radar technology.
